Happy New Year! I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday. I can absolutely say I did. Loved reconnecting with friends and family fun. So I decided to go out for NYE. I made a goal to wear things in my closet I have never worn. Which brings me to today’s post: thigh high boots. About two years ago I came across a couple of stellar high end shoes on a shoestring budget. I came across a pair of Vera Wang black leather thigh boots for $200, the original price of $750. Then later that year, I shopped at Burberry and found a pair of leather thigh boots originally priced at $1599; I only paid $194!!! Yes you read it right ladies. So after all that, I have never worn either pair. So I pulled out the Burberry ones because they have this really secure strap that will hold the boot around your thigh, without slipping downward while I danced the night away. They looked absolutely stunning on with my mini dress. I received compliments all evening. Ladies I am here to tell you, buy a pair, they are the sexiest boot ever! You can wear them with so many things. For example, skinny jeans and a tee, a mini skirt with a over-sized sweater, or an over sized sweater dress, even with a work sheath dress. (Depending on your dress code, maybe not if your an attorney.)
